We are planning on opening our office to limited human traffic on June 1st, 2021.  

We appreciate all your understanding and support as we are working hard to ensure our staff is vaccinated and protected during this pandemic so that we can continue to serve you and your pets during this time. We will continue to see patients by appointment with curb side/car side service so we can continue to offer the best care for your pet. This service will continue even after we open our doors for limited human traffic. We would like to thank our wonderful clients very much for their understanding during this serious human health concern as it is our top priority to ensure the health of you and your family. We want to assure you that we are instituting these policies so that we can continue to address the health concerns of your furry family members during this unprecedented pandemic.

Welcome to East Bridgewater Veterinary! We provide complete and individualized medical and surgical services to all of our patients. Our experienced and compassionate staff provide top quality care to your furry family members, from individualized wellness and preventative medicine programs to complex medical and surgical interventions.   

East Bridgewater Veterinary was established by Dr. Wayne Renegar and his wife, Sandra, over 20 years ago. In 2015, Dr. Renegar retired and Dr. Cynthia O'Connor acquired the practice continuing to provide the highest standard of veterinary care to our patients. We are a full service, family owned and operated, small animal practice that provides complete medical, surgical, dental, digital radiographic, ultrasound, and advanced reproductive services. In addition to our family practice, East Bridgewater Veterinary is one of only a handful of veterinary hospitals in New England to offer a complete reproductive health center for our patients including genetic counseling, breeding management, artificial insemination,  pediatric and neonatal specialty care, infertility evaluations, and semen cryopreservation (freezing) to name a few of our specialty services (please see our reproductive specialty services page).

As we pride ourselves on the personalized care we give our patients, we maintain an open line of communication with local specialists and emergency centers which allows us to participate in the highest quality care possible for our patients, and ensure that our patients have access to advanced veterinary medical services.

Conveniently located on Route 18 in East Bridgewater we are open Monday and Wednesday from 8:00AM-7:00PM and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00AM-5:30PM. To schedule an appointment, request a refill on your pet’s prescription or to speak with our friendly and knowledgeable staff regarding any questions or concerns please call 508-378-2700. You can also request an appointment using our online request form; however, please allow 24 hours for a response.

We understand your time is valuable and veterinary visits may cause some pets to be anxious; therefore, we strive to maintain a schedule that allows us to minimize your wait time. However, we also recognize that emergencies occur and accommodate our patients during business hours.

Coronavirus: Important Appointment Procedures

Our new appointment procedure as of June 1st, 2021:

1. We ask that for all appointments, you remain in your car during the check-in process.

2. Upon your arrival, please call the office 508-378-2700 ​to let the reception team know that you have arrived. Please let our staff know if you would prefer car-side service or would like to accompany your pet into the building for your appointment. ​

3. Please also let our staff know your preferred payment for your visit at this time as it will allow us to be as efficient as possible with your time.

4. Please wait in your car until we call you for your appointment.

5. If you elect to accompany your pet only ONE person may enter the building with your pet at a time. Masks are required to be worn properly (fully covering mouth and nose) at ALL TIMES. We are offering CAR-SIDE SERVICE service and ask anyone that is not vaccinated, recently traveled, visiting from another state, or from a high transmission area use this service.

6. We ask that any medications and food prescriptions be called in ahead of time. When you arrive for pickup, please call the office, and someone will bring the items out to your car.

We are doing everything to keep the office clean. We will be disinfecting after every client. Please note that we do not currently have a public restroom available in our office. Sorry for any inconvenience.

If you are sick with a fever, cough, or respiratory symptoms, do NOT ENTER the building.​

If you have any signs of illness, please alert our staff prior to your scheduled appointment time so we can discuss the best option for your pet's care which may include car-side service or a telemedicine appointment. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we are working hard to protect everyone's health and safety.

Video Consulting and Home Medication/Food Delivery

We are continuing to stay updated on the latest Coronavirus news from the CDC, AVMA, and WHO. For our clients who desire to take advantage of remote, at home consultations, we have also instituted video consulting with one of our veterinarians from your home. We have a link to our on-line pharmacy and food order service below as well as information for home delivery of medications and prescription diets on a page link above. For our clients who have concerns about their pet and due to Covid-19 concerns can not visit the office in-person, we encourage you to contact our staff to discuss these options in detail as well as how else we can assist you. We want to ensure our clients that we are taking the necessary measures to continue to offer the needed medical care for your furry family members throughout this period of time.
